1953 Epiphone Emperor Zephyr Regent, Serial No. 65450. This Nice vintage, pre-Gibson Epiphone is in excellent, if not remarkable condition. Beautifully aged, natural finish with no breaks and only minimal binding shrinkage that is typical of the very old Epiphones. All electronics and components for the six-position push button pickup selector are functioning flawlessly and provide incredibly unique tone variations. The script tuners with E stamps and Kolb buttons, bridge and Frequensator tailpiece, as well as the Bakelite Carousel type control knobs, are all intact and in great condition. With a very comfortable vintage neck and fingerboard, it plays and sounds fabulous. Included is what we believe to be the original case, in very good condition.
